Our next Household Hazardous Waste Drop-Off is scheduled for Saturday, October 5, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.   Location: ACUA Environmental Park 6700 Delilah Road, Egg Harbor Township, NJ Examples or Materials Collected: anti-freeze, compact fluorescent light bulbs, furniture polish, insecticide, motor oil, oil-based paint, pool chemicals, rechargeable batteries, spray paint, varnish/stains, etc. Hazardous waste is harmful to the environment and should never be disposed of in the trash or recycling. Atlantic County residents can safely dispose of hazardous materials at our event. Individual container sizes cannot exceed 5 gallons.   Residents can dispose of household hazardous items safely on Saturday, July 13, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the ACUA Environmental Park located at 6700 Delilah Road in Egg Harbor Township. Most Atlantic County residents have hazardous waste in their cabinets, basements, or garages but may not realize these items cannot go in their regular trash cans. Hazardous items include cleaning products, motor oils, weed killer, oil-based paints, auto care products, and items like rechargeable lithium-ion batteries.
